2. Nature of the Platform
Scientify is a satirical entertainment platform that uses AI to generate fake scientific research papers. All content generated by Scientify is entirely fictional, fabricated, and intended solely for humor and entertainment purposes.
No content produced by Scientify constitutes real scientific research, peer-reviewed work, or factual information. Generated papers include fabricated data, invented authors, fictional institutions, and made-up citations.
3. Prohibited Uses
You agree NOT to use Scientify or its generated content to:
- Represent AI-generated papers as genuine scientific research
- Submit generated content to academic journals or conferences
- Use generated papers for academic credit or coursework
- Deceive any person or institution into believing the content is real
- Spread misinformation or disinformation
- Generate content that promotes hate, violence, or illegal activity
- Harass, defame, or impersonate real individuals or organizations
4. Content Disclaimer
All generated articles carry a mandatory disclaimer identifying them as AI-generated satire. This disclaimer is embedded in the article metadata, displayed on public article pages, and included in generated PDFs.
You acknowledge that sharing Scientify content without its accompanying disclaimer may mislead others and violates these Terms of Use.
5. Credits and Payments
Article generation requires credits, which can be purchased through the Platform. Publishing is free. All purchases are final and non-refundable. Credits have no cash value and cannot be transferred.
6. Intellectual Property
Content generated through Scientify is created by AI and does not constitute original intellectual work. You may share generated content for entertainment purposes only, provided the Scientify attribution and satire disclaimer remain intact.
7. Limitation of Liability
Scientify is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the Platform or its generated content, including but not limited to reputational harm resulting from misuse of generated papers.
8. Account Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, including using the Platform to generate harmful or misleading content.
